If you are an undergraduate looking for a graduate mentor, UOWiP and UOSPS are hosting a mentorship meet and greet tomorrow! Check your email for a gather.town link in the PDF flyer.
Time: 4:00 PM Friday, November 20
Location: Zoom
Join us for an opportunity to learn from professors and UO graduate students about applying to and preparing for STEM graduate programs, and about the grad school experience! We will hear from Dr. Nima Dinyari on UO’s Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program, and Professor Eric Corwin from Physics will provide insight on how departments evaluate graduate applications. Current graduate students Layne Bradshaw, James Sartor, Madi Scott, and Amy Soudachanh will be on hand to share their paths to graduate school and their day-to-day experiences as researchers and teaching assistants.
Panelists:
The panel is open to all undergraduates. Whether you are curious about grad school and want to know more, or you’re in the process of applying and are looking for advice to put together the best possible application, our experienced panel has answers to any questions you may have. Check your Canvas email for the Zoom link!
